Please read this Agreement, using this website, you accept the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
When making a booking, you agree to (a) provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by our registration form (including your e-mail address). Full arrival details must be given if you want to pick up the car after arriving by plane or ship.
At the pick-up location, the renter must present a valid driving license, passport or ID, credit card issued in the name of the driver and voucher can be required.
The minimum age of the driver is 23 years. The maximum age is 70 years.
Driver must have a valid National for E.U. countries or National/International (for countries that don't belong to the E.U.) driving license issued at least one year ago.
Is sent to the renter's e-mail only after the reservation is confirmed and must be provided when picking up the car. In case of cancellation the voucher is void.
Master or Visa credit card are required when hiring a vehicle. Cash or Debit cards and third party credit cards are not accepted.
If you do not present the required documents, the documentation is not valid, or you do not have enough funds on your credit card, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle and no funds will be reimbursed.
The car rental company will preauthorize an additional EUR 750,00 on your credit card when you collect your vehicle. This will be automatically released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period. If there is damage to the rental vehicle, renter will be liable for up to the first EUR 750,00 of cost and the standard vehicle insurance policy will cover the rest.
The rental price includes the following coverage:
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW with excess): Will waive your liability to pay for any damage caused to the vehicle during the period of rental, (provided it is not due to violation of the Greek Traffic Code). Excess not included in the rental price, reduces the liability of the renter to a maximum of EUR 750,00 for all car categories. Please not that CDW does not cover damage to the tires, wheel, undercarriage, interior and damage or loss of car key.
Third Party Insurance: All authorized drivers of the rented vehicle are covered against material damage to third parties up to ΕUR 1.220.000,00 per accident and against liability to third parties and passengers for death and injury up to EUR 1.220.000,00 per victim.
Personal Accident insurance (PAI): This insurance covers the driver for total or partial disability up to 12.000,00 EUR. Both coverages are subject to General Terms of the car rental company's insurance contract with its insurer.
Theft protection (TP with excess): If the vehicle is stolen will reduces the liability of the renter to a max of EUR 750,00. Theft Protection is not valid in case of driver's negligence and must present the key. Items in the car are not insured.
-The driver is under influence of alcohol, medicine or other narcotics.
-Damage to the tires, wheel rims, undercarriage or inside of the car and loss or breakage of the key.
-Damages by own lack of responsibility.
-Carriage of more passengers, than permitted.
-Taking part in a motor sport events, test drives and /or driving exams.
-Other use than own transportation, such as transportation of persons for payment, driving lessons, transportation of goods.
-Transport highly flammable, poisonous or other hazardous materials.
-Perform customs or other illegal acts, even if those are only subject to prosecution at the location the act is committed.
-Other rental to third parties.
-Return the car with a delay of more than one hour.
-All Fines from illegal parking and violation of the traffic code, that occur during the rental period and penalties after rental period: are the renter's responsibility and will be charged to him.
-Only the drivers specified in the rental agreement are authorized to drive the rental vehicle.
- Car parking without hand brake and cause damages or drop the car is not included in the insurance
It is forbidden to transport the car by boat without previously obtaining permission in writing from the company. Please note that any damage to the vehicle in transit will not be covered by any insurance.
Not allowed
When reserving a vehicle, renter pays a deposit which guarantees availability of the reserved vehicle class at the specified time and location. The amount to be paid when receiving the vehicle consists of the remaining rental balance, additional options selected by the client and possible extra charges for pick-up / drop-off after and/or prior working hours.
Free of charge are available Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 22:00 hrs to our stations: Acharavi village main road, north Corfu island.
Corfu city Shell petrol station, next to the Green Bus Terminal.
Corfu airport - (Meet and Greet service) – Corfu port.
Applicable between our locations, following a written authorization and a special charge agreement.
Night/After hours: Outside of operating hours (according to our stationlist), there is an extra charge of EUR 20,00 plus VAT for pick-up or return.
Additional Driver: A charge of EUR 2,50 plus VAT per day, has to be paid for only one additional driver. Same conditions apply as per main driver.
Baby/child seat: Available on request with the daily charge of EUR 2,00 plus VAT.
GPS: Available on request with the daily charge of EUR 5,00plus VAT.
Fuel policy: The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as received.
On collecting the vehicle please ensure you inspect the vehicle for any damage and report any problems before departing the location.
Modifying a reservation: Reservation modifications can be proceeded via e-mail:corfubycar@gmail.com or via phone (30)2663064346 at least 24 hours before the start of the rental period. Modifications requested are to be confirmed by e-mail in writing.
Extending a reservation: In order to extend an upcoming or current reservation, please notify, at least 48 hours before originally scheduled return date to email: corfubycar@gmail.com or via phone (30)2663064346. In this case company cannot guarantee that rental costs terms and conditions for the period of extension remain the same as those of the pre-order on our websites.
Canceling a reservation: Reservation cancellations are accepted only in writing and must contain render's and order data and reasons for cancellation. If the renter fails to inform and fails to arrive to the pick-up location,the renter is charged an amount equal to 100% of reservation value. Cancellation requests must be sent by e-mail: corfubycar@gmail.com at least 48 hours prior to the originally scheduled pick-up date. After receiving cancellation confirmation, paid amount of money is fully refunded. Full reservation payment is charged if you cancel your booking because some of required documents (passport, driving license, credit card etc.) are missing or not valid. For unused rental days in case of early return there will be no refund payment provided.
Important Note:
The mentioned car types are indicative only, the company reserves the right to provide a different car model to that originally reserved equivalent or higher model type. All terms, conditions and prices are subject to change.
